| Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) Colloids: winning methods, thermodynamic of stable dispersive systems (theoretical background). Structural parameters of micellar systems. Natural membranes modeling systems: micelles, reversed micelles, lipids bubbles, and lipids bilayer. Surfactants: types, structure, properties and solutions in polar and nonpolar solvents. Calorimetric technique application in microemlusions studies among other things the natural compounds solubility in the systems modeling biomembranes. Spectroscopic methods applications in studies on location privileged places of natural compounds and their transferring through the membranes. Estimated student workload per semester: 37,5hours, including: - 15 hours of class participation - 7,5 hours of consultations - 15 hours of exam preparation |

| Efekty uczenia się: |
(tylko po angielsku) The aim of this lecture is to get the knowledge on specific properties of microemulsions containing biologically active compounds and learning on the methods used in active transport studies. KNOWLEDGE: After completing the course ,the student knows and understands K_W01, K_W05, K_W10 - has advanced knowledge and unerstands the place of chemistry in the system of exact and natural science as well as its importants for the development of humanity; - has-in depth concepts within a selected chemical specialization enabling the use of methods and concepts appropriate for this specialization and allowing independent research work; - has a knowledge and skills in computational methods appropriate for a given chemical specialization; - has enough good understanding of current trends in chemistry and the latest scientific discoveries in a given chemical specialization; in particular: - knows and understands the physicochemistry of colloids and microemulsions and their importance in the study of phenomena occurring in systems containing biologically active compounds; SKILLS: after completing the course the student is able to K_U08 - , K_U11 - is able to search for necessary information in databases of professional literature and other sources of information and competently assess the credibility of the information obtained; - can discuss the place of chemistry in the system of exact and natural sciences and its importants for the development of civilization; - can explain the importance of studying interfacial phenomena in biomimetic systems, e.g., in monitoring certain aspects of phenomena occurring in natural systems; SOCIIAL COMPETENCES: after completing this course , the student is ready for: K_K01 - continuous self-education and independent search for information in literature, including foreign-language sources. |
