Efekty uczenia się: |
After completing the course: KNOWLEDGE (K_W01; K_W02; K_W07; K_W09): - students recognize the problems and challenges of sustainable development and are able to select the methods, tools and procedures enabling achievement of the Sustainable Development Objectives in various spatial (global, regional, local) and industry scales; - students know how to apply an interdisciplinary approach to sustainable development, using information from various areas, and can assess the contribution of these areas to solve the problems and challenges related to sustainable development; - students know where to search for reliable sources of information and databases and are able to verify data; - students are able to work in interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral way, learn from various subject disciplines as well as institutional and independent sectors in order to synthesize new ideas and concepts; SKILLS (K_U01; K_U02; K_U09): - students pose the critical questions and find appropriate solutions; - students apply modern information technologies (e.g. GIS, remote sensing); - students use new technologies and media in effective communication (e.g. public speech) and self-presentation; ATTITUDES (K_K02; K_K04; K_K07): - students improve their professional skills; - students understand the need to search for new technologies; - students care about the reliability of their research work. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
Continuous assessment – attendance control, progress during the classes; final simple GIS project. The components of final evaluation: current rating – 50%, final project – 50%. The student has the right to improve negative grade. The lecturer decides about the possibility of improving the positive grade taking into account the number of unexcused student absences. Two unexcused absences are allowed. The total acceptable number of absences (excused and unexcused) is 7, however the student is obliged to complete missing exercises resulting from the absence (regardless of the reason) within two weeks. |
